ive seen a lot of brown and black murray darling carpets hatchlings
i was wondering do they go gray when they get older?
or more brown ?

The MDs I have seen have been mostly grey. I had one that had alot of orange on her.

The brown you talk about is more likely red, rather then brown................as for getting older, there colours will fade, like most carpets.....
the grey and blacks, and the red/grey and blacks are area specific not species specfic.
