what is a good size enclosure should i use the diamond it about 3 foot long

what are you keeping the diamond in at the moment? An enclosure where the diamond has enough room to move around in, hide in a cave or box and a branch or rock to bask on. Contact AuzlizardKing to enquire about and enclosure

i am currently keeping him in a 1.7 foot long by 1.2 foot wide by 1 foot high tub with a heat light and a hide in the hot and cool side also tubes to climb on is that fine for a temporary enclosure?

Your description of the tub sounded a bit familiar i must admit.
Give him a good week or two and he'll be right. What sort of temps are you getting using a heat globe? I tend to avoid globes when using tubs as they have the ability to overheat the tub quite quickly. A heat mat is usually the best way to go.

Check out the caresheets in wiki. Also move your enclosure out of where it is Diamonds need UV light, and you have yours locked in your wardrobe, where it is constantly dark, it will also help with its natural day/night cycles for feeding etc.
