| | | | . There was a thread recently on this i think. Some people suggested orange powder... I usually use household stuff like diluted vinegar/eucalytus oil/lemon juice, then rinse well afterwards with water and a clean rag/paper. You could also use a diluted bleach solution. But whatever you decide on, give it a good wiping off with a clean wet towel after so as not to leave any harmful residues. :wink:

|  | Regular Member | Join Date: Jun-06 Location: Canberra | | | I use repticlean and It is a bit costly if not any disinfectant but always wipe it out as said by others.I have never thought of eucaltptus oil,There is probably a good reason for that.Sorry but I never thought of bleach either and now I see two people using it.Just never crossed my mind.  Each to there own as long as it is wiped out completly no matter what you use.

| | | | Ramsayi is right - eucalyptus oil and tea tree oils are very toxic to reptiles. Don't use them at all for cage cleaning.

Also bought Repti-hand for the same reason (pretty bottle) which I now fill with a detol hand wash. |

I would like to do a things similar to the rat food. Order it in bulk and divide it up.
