If i can brumate him what month do i start to not feed him and lower the heat and everything and what month do i put it all to normal again. I live in around macarthur if that helps.

1.3 month or year?

beardies tend to stop eating themselves when their heat gets turned down and put tehmselves into brumation, just make sure he craps out all the food in his tummy befoer u let him sleep, the rotting food/poo can cause illness and infection.

if hes not fully grown with decent fat stores i wouldnt brumate him.

I didn't lower heat or daylight at all last year when my beardies were only about 6mths old, however found with the lower night and ambient temps they brumated themselves.

reptile form of hibernation,...snakes need to be cooled for fertility reasons, beardies are fertile regardless.

you wouldnt really want to brumate under fully grown....can lead to reptile not reaching full length or worse not waking up!

juveniles generally dont have enough body fat as they are still growing to recover from brumation...... post pics if you can...may help
or weights ,length & head width for a overall perspective

if your not planning on breeding, dont brumate.... keep the temps and food up
