Unhappy Downs Beardies changing colour...

Hello.
I got my first ever reptiles the other day, two downs bearded dragons, and one of them seems to have changed colour. Its has become lighter, and i am not too sure if i should be worried or not.

Can anyone help me out with a bit of advise?

Cheers,
Janie (VERY worried first time mum)

hey Janie, I recently got some beardies and noticed they go very light coloured when i put them in the sun. I was told they can change their colour slightly for camouflage.

They change their colour, usually lighter when they are warmer...darker when they are cool so they can absorb more heat.

Janie - Also, when coloured Beardies are coming into shed the piece that is about to shed often goes a pale/whitish colour for a week or so before it sheds off...
