forget the monitors as they cost more than that. Central netted dragons are small and are under $200 ea, most of the common gecko's are around $100 - $150 ea for hatchlings.

Mountain dragons are small (esp. the Sydney variety) they have to be kept cool but go for around $80 - $100 each.

You can get monitors for around that, accies are fairly cheap and my pygmy mulga monitors cost me $166.66 each. Often they cost upto $250 but. They are not the smallest species but are still fairly small.

i have some tawny dragons in a 3ft and the only use the hot end, about 20cm of it they are either on top of the basking stack of in it, 4ft would be a waste imo

Pygmy Mulga Monitors are perfect for a 4x2x2 and stay very small - they are generally selling for about $200 ea but I have seen them cheaper a number of times...
