just to update people about the dry scales, She shed 2 nights ago, and the dry scales on her head are gone, and she is looking amazing. Thanks for all the input

I've just been re-reading this post, although amusing, it has put my mind at rest with a few dry looking scales on top my pythons head (this isn't sounding very good is it??) I used a small amount of water and soaked the area slightly and that seemed to work a little bit. I think the comment about the snake rubbing to get the skin off is an accurate reason as to the occurence of the blemish. I'm glad yours has shed out Moses, it would be a bit worrying otherwise.
