Hi Use Anything For A Water Dish I Prefer The Clay Style Dog Water Dishes With The Blue Glazed Inside They Are Sturdy And Near Impossible To Tip Over Plus They Come In A Few Different Sizes. Ceramic Heat Emmiters Are Great Put It On A Thermostat Though I Guess It Dosnt Get Too Cool In Arnhemland You Will Want A Light In There Too If You Want To Have A Good View Of Whats Going On. Most People On Here Stay Well Away From Kitty Litter And Use Only Newspaper I Put Dry Leaves Over The Paper For A Natural Look. Good Luck

yeah i black night heat admitter on a thermostat would be good if you don't want to see your snake all the time in its tank yeah alot of people don't like that breeder choice because if they get on caught in there throat or if there a hatching and they swallow one with a meal they can expand and get caught and do all sorts or damage but for all the expensive cleaners for the tank they can be used to give it a through clean every now and again but if you are gust giving it a once over like the glass there are alot cheaper products that will do the job may ask what type of snake you are getting and what age
