EWD advice

Hey guys I got a Hatchy EWD last week from the reptile expo in Castlehill and all seems well. Iv'e read that they're not the best to handle but I just wanted to ask would tweezer feeding kind of tame him in a way??

He's pretty good in that when he's scooped up he'll stay on my hand

Cheers

If your able to handle him, and he keeps feeding, all is good.
Just feed him as normal (let it catch its own crickets).
If it stops feeding, you may be stressing it with over handling it.
Feeding Dragon, Happy Dragon, Happy Dragon, Happy Keeper.

waterdragons dont really like being held, there not calm and relaxing like a bearded dragon or bluey, and adults can be very difficult to restrain during handling, there very strong and easily scrath the bejesus out of you, lol,u have to hold on pretty good and expect to cop it at times,of course some do mellow, but yeah i wouldnt be expecting to be holding them, there not a pet u get for its handling qualitys, there great lizards,i keep easterns and gippys, whilst there quite manageable to hold when young, try it with up to 3 foot of thrashing adult male, they wont sit on u like a beardy, there great to keep still, one of my favourite types of reptile,u can tweezer feed them with out having to pick them up though,oh and there is the exception,im sure the odd watery will allow it handling wise,,just not the norm

Hello

Hello,

I just wanted to see a picture if you have one!
How is he doing today?
The more you work with him, the more tame he can become. Handfeeding is a great way to bond with him also.
