ok thanks ppl u have all opened my eyes to see that i cant just tell him to stop its a matter of showing him y 2 stop and how it effects me and the eco system thanks for ur help and i hope it works

hi i have this post card REPTILE RELOCATION AND AWARENESS 0401263296 24 hours-7days All reptiles are protected.Don,tkill a harmless snake or put your family at risk with a deadly one call a licensed catcher thay do educational demonstrations on conservation, and ecology of reptiles using live snakes,lizards&crocodiles. maybe take him to one of these displays or call them thats what the card says so it might save a king brown the thing is our olds are set in their way,s buy him a book for a present on snakes i keep the number in my mobile ph maybe to save a snake one day

As far as i know snakes cannot purposefully vocalise any sounds (hissing included), however, many species and individuals seem to hiss. I think this "hissing" is simply a response the snake has to the presence of a potential predator (big scary human) as it's breathing increases, HR goes up etc. etc.

Don't hold me to this but i am 70% sure that a snake will not voluntarily hiss at a predator.
