when they are getting ready to shed....there skin goes a milky cloudy greyish colour and there eyes start to a little blueish too. they generally wont eat during this time. it can take anywere from 1 to even 3 weeks before they shed

Um, ok has he feed since uve had him? if so what have u offered.... thawed, freshly killed, live prey????

if u havent feed since u have got him, refer to what previous owner was feeding....

if no success u did mention that it's sharing enclosure with female hypo? He might be stage frieght and wont eat in front of her try seperating...

if still no success try a smaller meal and lastly if still no success after all of the above, try blooding (needle thru head, of food not snake) and 3.5 weeks is ok without a feed IMHO id start to worry when it gets into a few months and not feeding....

hope this helps and keep us updated

yeh stage fright lol thanx for pickin up the typo lol

Um, seeing as though it's on pinkies i would attempt to try a live one if not fresh killed (if u can get ya hands on one) OR if ya not willing to try that try diffent attempts on the thawed, dry/wet warmer/colder .. just trial and error until u figure out what he's willing to take

um stage fright bein that u have the 2 snakes in the same enclosure, and by the sounds of it the male is smaller so probably the female dominates and he's not eating cause of this, as whitey said try seperate him just to see if he feeds and when he does try re introduce back into the same enclosure

oh ok same size, id just seperate till u get get the fella to eat once he's eaten put him back in and try the next feed in enclosure...

Um IMHO i would try say 3-5 days in and 3-5 out this would give u the opportunity to bond with him and for him to adjust to u... i give 3-5 days cause u dont want to stress him out too much and i say 3 in 3 out cause i would say u want them in same enclosure...

I am just suggesting this so i hope this helps anyone that is more experienced is more then welcome to give other opinions
