hi all again we have been feeding our spotted on pinkie mice he is now 14mths and changed him to weener mice and he ate 2 last feed,tonight he was not into the weeners at all but when given our last 3 pinkies he has eaten the lot.have we changed him to a to bigger mouse to soon,we were going to try fuzzy mice but were told he should be on weeners.we were going to try and get him on to fuzzy or weener rats. any help please. many many thanks again

If he has already eaten two weaners he will be fine. Just keep trying they can be fussy sometimes.

Just persist with the weaners. If he continues to refuse them, try rubbing some pinky blood on them.

I would try some brained fuzzy or weaner rats. Fresh killed is always better too IMO.
Although if you have only been feeding it pinky mice it may not be big enough to eat weaner rats yet.

you could always start with a pinkie then offer a weaner afterwards, this should work, eventually you should be able to just offer weaners.
