Perhap you should be more specific.... People might be more forthcoming.

Sorry, I forgot to quote. Perhaps you could be more specific (with what you wanted to know). Then people may be more forthcoming.

Also, I suggest searching previous threads for information. If they are lacking sometihng you need to know, then ask a specific question.

There is a search option on the top display bar..... next to "Donate" and "Quick links"

It shouldn't make a big difference. They will both need heating.

UV can be given to spiny tails. Apparently it may help them with bone development. Also use calcium powder and vitamin powder on feeds. Soft padding on the bottom of the cage while they are young (casaurina needles are good) will prevent the geckos damaging themselves when they misjudge jumps from branch to branch (it happens!).

Lights not needed for thicktails.... a heat mat at one end of the cage is fine. You could have a red/blue light globe for night time viewing, once they are established (leave them alone while they are babies).
Pieces of slate make great hides for thick tails, just prop them up with some timber off-cuts. Make sure they are stable. Branches aren't necessary either, they don't climb much.
