Hehe Maybe it's been creeping out of it's home at night and eating too many green veggies when you're sleeping... vegetarianism in snakes can be deadly

Ihave been keeping snakes for 8years now and this snake is not right.
Have just contacted the vet and taking a urea sample in.should know soon
Might have something to do with the zucchini i feed it,he loves them after rubbing them on the rats.

We once had a snake that was excreting green (like a lime green).
The vet said this is usually an indication of liver damage.
It got worse and sloppy (pumping the stuff out)and the snake became quite lethargic and floppy and couldn't move (all in the space of 24/48 hours).Within 48 hours he was dead.
Initially we suspected it was OPMV,(thankfully not) but after an autopsy it was revealed he was poisoned (most likely from mite spray )
Good luck with it mate!!

I have seen this in a few tigers...usually after mite spray....if you are more careful with the spray it will go away over time and with treatment. A good vet will be able to tell you what damage is done, but often it is liver damage from a poison.

It is also an indication that the snake has not been eating. Is it a hatchie, and have you seen it feed? Ask the seller about it's feeding history? Apparently if they're not eating, once they start ****ting green, it's not good.

I have been chatting to my vet about it....he also mentioned the not eating for a while factor.....this is a relief for me as we have seen it in one of our tigers.....he was checked...poo check etc and nothing unusual...except he has not fed for 6 months......but is now keen on feeding!
