With heat cords from URS what is the best way to put them in an enclosure. Do you just put it under your subgrade or place something on top so it warms up?. I just need some suggestions. Any help would be good. |

If it is inside I put it under something loke a piece of ply or slate. I have also wound it round a piece of PVC pipe.

I place the cord on the back area of the enclosure in rows - as long as its a low wattage cord you are using I have been able to place the cord so it stays close to the glass with use of bathroom silicone ( as it can with stand temps upto 30 degrees as its used for bathrooms ) Works well for me - tapes hopeless it falls off. | | |
