Thats probably internal bleeding, if so, there's not really anything you can do unless you want to take it to the vet.

If that is internal bleeding, I'd say pretty much zero....but not seeing the animal or knowing if it had that lump before hand (ie, might be something unrelated) I really couldnt tell you.

Suprisingly enough, he will probably be totally fine. Bluey's are notoriously tough little buggers, they can survive getting run over by lawn mowers, hit by cars, attacked by dogs and just about anything else that comes their way. My suggestion would be to let him go, but that may not be something you're comfortable with so if you feel the need, get in touch with WIRES or another wildlife rehab group and they will take him off your hands.

this very correct, though i think take it toa vet that does wildlife. we wired the skull of a blue tongue taht had been run over my a car and its skull broke in serveral area and he came good very quickly. dogs attacks have a tendency to show minimal external damage but major einternal damage. but it is possible that the lump is entirely unrelated to your dogs attack. its could be an abscess or metacyst. i dotn think a heamatoma would show as a lump in a blue tongue so i think internal bleeding woudl probably be out of the question. but yes its yoru decision now

Hahaha that's right - if you like an animal, it can do no wrong by you!

Anyway I was just being silly.

Whetver it is that lump doesn't look good. Though it could just be oedema?
