HELP Sexing in Cairns

Does anyone know where we can get our snake sexed in Cairns?.
Have tried Airport Vet but they want to anesthetize & or xray.
and suggest waiting till the snake is about a year old.
We have a spotty he/she is very placid no biting, don't know exact age but thinking about 4-5 months approx 500mm in length.

There is a vet near WOW sight and sound called the balaclava vet clinic. they was listed on a reptile site, i haven't tried them myself so can't comment on their professionalism, but maybe try them, their # is 40542166 and i believe the vets name is Paul Mathews

Theres a guy called Andrew (cant remember his last name) whos one of the vets at Kuranda who specialises in reptiles.. worth giving them a call
