You were told it was eating medium rats but have you actually fed it & seen it do so under your own care yet? What I am getting at is don't rely too heavily on other peoples word. I found out last night I have 2 male snakes when I specifically purchased a male/female.

So she hasn't actually fed for you yet, right?

2 months really isn't that long. Some snakes need much longer to settle in before they start feeding for their new owner. I would just wait until after winter and then try again.
