hey i have just brought myself an olive python some people told me that it will be able to live in a 6ft long by 2ft by 2ft tank for the rest of its life just wondering if this is right info and if anyone has got olives what they keep it in cheers
i have young olive about 2 years old in a 6x2x2 but i wouldnt say it could live in that for the rest of its life...when mine gets bigger im looking at making an enclosure around 8x4x4, but that wont be for a while i guess and i still have to work out the how its going to be heated.
The general rule is that a snake will be fine in an enclosure 1/2 it's length - running off that theory you will have no problems with an olive in a 6x2x2...
