Holy heck, my first hatchie gecko!!!!!!!!!

Its only 50 days for my intermedius eggs, and I went in the get the moisture off the lid, to find a hatchie intermedius gecko running around the tub! I think I'm in shock.

Anyway, some very quick advice if I could please - gee its small, my intention was to put it in one of those plastic tanks with the coloured vented lids - but its so small I'm wondering if hatchie geckos can squeeze though the gaps in those lids?

I have an exo, but I can't get enough heat to it - probably only mid 20's max, otherwise I'd use that.

Well, I wasn't prepared this early so I have to go and quickly get some pinheads to feed it.

Its in the exo for the time being, but don't think its going to be warm enough.

I had my first levis hatch on Monday as well, I have moved him/her into a one litre systema tub, with a portion of the lid cut out and replaced with mesh. That is sitting on heat cord.

Having another look at the plastic container, the gaps are smaller than I thought, so it should be fine in there, which means I can keep it warm.

Looks like I'll have an intermedius for sale soon (theres another egg should hatch now too)

Well these were easier than I thought. 1 or 2 eggs at a time, I've had these 2, then one a week later from the other female in the trio, and nothing since, although they are fat still.

Try 42 days Martin- two perfectly healthy golden tails......finally.

Small is not the word.......heaven help me if i get baby clones, because my girls gravid now. Would be interesting to see how small they are in comparison.

Just a tip to, if you can't get pinheads, buy smalls and then nip of the legs. Otherwise get some day old woodies as feed.

Good luck
