G'day bitey,

I always recommend that people have enclosures set up prior to purchasing a new snake. If you don't have the money to set up a new enclosure, than I would suggest reconsidering the purchase, as you may not be able to afford veterinary assistance if one of them gets sick. I always recommend people keep a few dollars to the side when purchasing a new snake to deal with emergencies.

Cheers

Jonno

Bitey - Keeping snakes together is a point where a lot of people differ in opinion - my simple opinion is that your snake is likely to get a tad stressed when the other tries to eat him...

I also agree with Jonno 100% - if you don't have the cash for the setup then wait til you do - in saying that though - a $20 heat cord and a $5 click-clack would be a fine setup...

They probably wont eat each other but it can/does happen. If you are getting a small snake you would be better off keeping it in a small plastic tub anyway.

Always better to keep them separate bitey. That way should any of them get ill, less chance of spreading to toher animals. A few keepers on this site have posted threads about the horror of having one of their snakes being eaten by another sharing the same enclosure.
Some snakes go off their food if another snake is in their enclosure. They are solitary animals.
Best not to do it so there is no risk.

Simone.

well i read that yes 100% thay can eat eachother so if u are doing that watch them when you feed them because what heppends is 1 might b faster at eating and then might go looking for some more food and see the other snake with half of the mouse out of its mouth and they will try eat it in doing so it ends um with the snakes head in its mouth if this does heppen do not try force them apart rince them in warm water and it will stop and thay will separte and u wont lose a snake
