Some people sell them for less than $100 and they are 100% healthy. There's no way to tell other than checking out the sellers setups and a vet check.

Breeders prices $150 -$200 tops for standard coastals.
It all comes down to what you want to pay.
Just because old mate isn't in it to make maxium profit don't assume because they are cheap the quality is less. I'd be happy getting a good healthy snake for that price.
I sell mine for $150 when I have them available and childreni for $120, not in it for the profit, just to cover cost, inprove caging and get better quality species if I want. Do it for the love not the profit.
Just my opinion.......

Just remember to check the care sheets on the site for snake health.

any reason why carpet. the reason i ask is i know carpets grow to around 10 to 12 feet but i dont know what size cage i would need once it grows to full size. so if any one can tell me what size would be needed.

i am renovating an old closet for my coastal, it is 150cm high, 50cm deep and 110 cm long. this should be enough for when he grows up unless he gets huge. by the way some coastals have supposedly gotten to 14 feet. but im assuming thats pretty rare if true at all.
the only reason i would go the carpet is that i like the looks and size of them more than antaresia sp.
