How do i stop it Hybernating?

Hey Guys

I have a juvinille carpet python and he has gone into dormancy and i wanna stop him from doing that i think he ahs already gone into as he has stopped eating and i dont know why he did this last year


Any ideas as to how i can get him to Snap out of it

alot of snakes will stop eating or slow down on food this time of year..becos of the temperatures...do u have heating for ur snake? and at what temp?

or alternantly get a stronger heat source and turn up the heat

i dont wanna up the temperature too muich more its 25 - 30 i havenete yet tried beating him but he is beign a silly bugger so i am not ruling it out

25-30? by the sounds u need a better heat source...and a gud thermo to keep the temps more accurate....i dont own carpets but im sure someone on here who does will b able to help wit the temps ur snake needs...im guessing bout the same as diamonds, mayb a lil more? 30-32 celcius?

O ive yelled in frustration he just looks at me in the way only snakes can and then just dosent eat

Just let it do what it has evolved to do, thats what snakes do.
