HOW LONG IS TO LONG (SHED)

Hi all,
my accie has taked a week to shed and this tail still has not shed


so how long is to long.
should i do something and what.

My beardie is the same. I just keep on misting him with water and assist when it comes loose

You should give him a soak in some warm water, a bout shoulder height (on the lizard) deep.

give him about half an hour in there, maybe every day if you can.

you dont wanna leav it too long as his tail could die if it misses a couple of sheds.

Keep An Eye On Him In The Water Too..

if he's big maybe soak him in the bath tub...

Yeah i would give him a few soaks in the bath with some warm water...

and if it cools off, try and put some more warm water in, youl find it getting cold fairly quick, but drain a bit out if it gets too deep...

make sure he can stand easily, as he could easily get exausted if he is swimming for too long...

dont get me wrong, they can swimm well, but if it panics it will get worn out...

On the topic of shedding. I picked up a hatchling coastal carpet. He is 4 months old and has only shed once, is this normal or should he be shedding more frequently?
