Yeh too easy mate,a mate of mine puts the rats in a plastic container then dongs them on the head with a metal rod with a flat plate on the end, puts m to sleep intantly. This gas stuff is all too much and it dont kill them as quick, just makes the human feel better for whatever reason

Yes zulu, the screams stay with you dont they...i much prefer the solid thock noise achieved by using just the right amount of wrist flick...Much quicker and no pain im sure.

Someone didn't do chemistry! CO2 is denser than air and therefore sinks to the bottom of the container.

Not in a homemade gaschamber, that is FOR sure.

I can kill (massive brain trauma)30 to 40 rats or mice in the time it takes one full grown rat to die in a baking soda vinegar chamber....

BOC sells dry ice, place it in a container such a ploystyrene box with holes near the top, pour water into it the dry ice sublimes to form CO2 gas, it is heavier than air and flows out of the container, place the box into a large enough container and it will then flow and displace air. A 60l tub works best, put a lid on it and within 5 mins you can kill off over 100 mice or a chamber full of rats. The dry ice costs about $4 for 1/2kg and it will kill over 1000 rodents easily. Once you finish just keep away from other animals and children. Cheap, easy, humane, legal and you can sell the excess to petstores if you need to. According to RSPCA gassing is the only legal technique for rats and mice.
