importing live Burmese Python

I found this while looking for laws relating to reptile feeding.

I don't think i would have a prob with as long as they did vet and quarintine tests and checks at both ends.Where they are shipped from and again when they arrive here.
Also this should be done only if it is zoo's caring for them would and not be available for private sales.Only veiwng through a glass wondow at the zoo.(which is being done anyway).
Although the sad thing is they are already out there probably.

Did anyone here of someone being done over for exotics i think it was in Melbourne???

Its a draft report - it has a 99.99% probablity of doing nothing except gather dust.

What it means is that the TAG have applied to import 6 burmese.
Depending on their origin I would not have thought a captive breeding program would be in order. There is no shortage of this species in captivity.
