I have a few questions.
Can I use Breeder's choice kitty litter at the bottem?
What tempreture do I set the thermostat to?
Heat source, heat cord, lamp, or mat?
How can I keep the bottem at the correct amount of moisture?
What time of year do I put the male with the female?
Also any other advice will be very appreciated!

heat source in incubator or enclosure? in incubator 31.5degerees is the standard, i use a heat cord onto thermo set at the above temp with desk fan in bottom to circulate the warm air.always use a thermometre though as the standard black probe thermos can read different. i use a pulse thermostate. and 1st of june pair them same as coastals but it is also prefernce i paired some coastals for their first year of breeding on the 1st of may.there should be heaps of info around.are you trying to breed this season or are they just hatchies atm?

as for their enclosures go they arent like a green tree python and need misting and all that as far as i know..just keep the humidity up and temps higher than you would a spotted or coastal. i.e, warm end of a coastals end around 30 degrees id keep athertons at around 34 or 35 warm end.to add humidity just add a large bowl of water need the heat source. hope this helps. good luck

yep well as i said pair them in june, use an old fridge they are easiest and cheapest way, heat cord prob the 50 watt 6mtre, with a pulse thermo(worth its weight in gold when it comes to regulating temps.) desk fan. if ud prefer bulbs then 3 40 watt bulbs at the bottom of the fridge will do.31.5 degrees is safest temp to incubate just about any reptile. and also have a thermometre reading temps in with the eggs and outside of the eggs. use vermiculite as the substrate to incubate the eggs...there is heaps of info with more details then i can give around. so when incubating athertons its not all that diferent to coastals, macs and jungles ect. also its not all about age it goes on weight and size mostly ud like your female to be atleast 3kg id recon. my female is twice that lol the fat thing. weekly feeding is the key with the females i tend to feed my females more then my males. females weekly males fortnightly.
