Me too, it was also sad. The Nothing scared the heck out of me though

But my Falcore is just as lucky and he will be home again soon to more hugging (*I can hear him groaning from here)

When Artax died a couple of kids in the theatre were laughing and I (At the ripe old age of 6 or so) got up and flew up them for it

Lol imagine being loved to death....

Internal Parasites

The Rock Biter and his family were pretty cool. My little Trio of Beardies are called the Rock Biters....
Falcore is the boss, when he wanders around (for his exercise) with me on the loungeroom floor, the others see him for their enclosure and wave at him.
He will be good, he is the keeper!
Thank you Nvenm8!

Internal Parasites

Another Update!

I had to take my Leaf Tail Female Gecko to the Vets because she was sluggish and wheezing, well she passed away this morning at the Vets and they did a post mortem, the Vet said she was in good body condition but was just old and it was her time to go I am having one crappy week.

While I was there I asked to see Falcore so he knew I hadn't deserted him. He is very fragile and weak, he had a feacal float done and there is no sign of eggs or worms coming thru. But he is not out of the woods because they are not sure how much damage could have been done to his kidneys and liver. He is very pale and still not eating on his own. He will send some more days there but he has put on a little weight from force feeding but again she says it is not much for an adult Beardie!

I know he will pull thru and he knows I wouldn't give up!

He is Lucky after all! I will keep you updated.

That's awful Possum, sorry to hear about your baby

I hope Falcore picks up, good to hear it's not worms though.

Internal Parasites

Yay, I have my Falcore home! He started eating this morning on his own and the Vet thought he would be happier home with me. He is not 100% better (maybe only 60%) but he is on his way! I knew he would pull thru, he is very weak and has lost at least his body weight but I will fatten him up and he needs to make weekly visits to the Vet to be weighed.

Thank you to everyone that sent their kind words of encouragement, I was nearly going out of my mind with worry.

Cheers,
Anne

Falcore has put on 6 grams and Teri says he is looking better, he is looking around with bright shiny eyes and he even showed me his teeth the other day when I went to get him out of his water bowl

Internal Parasites

I am relieved that the worse is over (touch wood) but every second night I have to give him his Baytril and he looks really cranky at me, I feel so bad for him, I am sure it takes awful because he flicks his head around and tries to spit out his tongue

The Vet said he is nowhere near where he should be but he is trying real hard, so as long as he tries then I will try just as hard, so he gets heaps of food and hugs, I am sure he is saying "stop hugging me and leave me alone will ya"

I've come late to this thread also, but was so pleased to read that he is now home and on the mend. My guess is that while he was at the vet's he was thinking...

"where is my Anne and where are my hugs?"

I hope he continues to improve. Keep up those hugs!
