I am thinking of adding another Cunningham to my tank. I have sourced another Cunningham but he will be bigger than my existing one. They are both juvenile but this new one would be agood third bigger.
Is this an absolute no-no, or a no problem's situation. Anyone with experience introducing Cunningham's or other lizards together of different sizes your advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

The only thing I would worry about in keeping Larger Skinks with smaller Skinks is the larger mistaking the smaller ones tail for a meal.

Thats not a problem in this case, because the one I already have has had his eaten by bluey! and the one I'm looking at getting has also lost its tail, but it's growing back? So no free snack there either.
This is starting to sound like a freak show. I'm either unlucky or on a steep learning curve. By the way Cunningham and Bluey sleep on the log together now they are best of friends? Maybe bluey's just being patient waiting for snack to grow back.
Cheers

Egernia species are known for being territorial, you will have to keep a very close eye on them to make sure there is no fighting or bullying going on and if they both turn out to be males they may need to be seperated anyway. How big is the enclosure?

A friend recently constructed a new enclosure (avairy) specifically for his cunninghams, because he was being given 2 new animals. His original pair did not take kindly to the new arrivals killing one of the animals. The second was removed and placed in another cage.
Be very careful introducing new animals. The best time to do so would be whne they are young, and in a neutral territory (though it doesn't always work obviously). You could also try introducing during the winter when the animals are less active and therefore less likely to fight.
Just some ideas.

Cunninghams don't act kindly to new house-mates, it has little to do with the sex of the animal, they just don't like "their space" to be invaded by a new lizard. if you need to try, at least make sure they are of similar size and create some sort of divider so they can see each other "close up" for six months or so before they can interact, then keep a eagle eye on them and watch for any signs of aggression in the first week. It is best to buy your "colony" together as same age hatchlings then raise them up together.

You know what, since I hadn't had any real negative advice on Friday regarding this, I went and got the other Cunningham and he has turned out to be a lot bigger than the other one. The funny thing is he has stood his ground against the bluetongue, having their initial stand-off, and bluey now leaves them alone. Since then the smaller Cunningham seems much happier and I have seen them, and I'm not kidding appear to snuggle up with each other, and also piggyback. They are now always together in the tank. If I get a chance I'll post a pic of this next time I see them do it.
However I will keep a close eye on them to see if any aggression develops.
Thank you all.
Cheers

Every individual animal is different, My eastern bluey get on fine with the cunninghams, pink tongues it lives with, but trys to kill the shingles if I put them in there (both M & F),
