Introducing new partner

I have been given a male for my girl they are approx the same size..
What has everyone found that works best to introduce them to each other for less dramas.

Congrats Andrea, post a pic or 2 of Nippa's new friend.
I found if you gradually introduce them, then it should be fine.
Put Nip and her new man out together on the floor so they're in an area that Nippa isn't likely to feel like she is having her home over run.
Then gradually introduce them to each other in Nippa's tank and it should be fine.
Can't wait to see some pics of the new man...
