irregular pooping

my bearded dragon has lately been having very irregular poo. he went almost 3 days without pooing them left a pile of poo on the end of day three. that was 2 days ago and no poo since. he's been eating his woodies as normal acting normally and isn't slugish at all, but being a juvenile i'm just a tad concerned. he's not bedded on sand so it can't be an impaction from that, but can the exoskelaton from the roaches impact? temps are 40 at the hot end and betwene 20 and 25 on the cool end he's been spending most of his day in the middle in a potted plant.
any ideas?

I had the same concerns with Diego when we first got him - he didn't poop for about a week. We gave him daily warm baths to help him along. We also tried to keep his hydration levels up by offering fruit juice (watered down) with an eye dropper. Eventually he pooped and since then, he's been going around once every week and a half. So it may just be completely normal.

I was told to give daily warm baths, and to gently massage along the right side of his belly from under the arm down to just before the vent. If you feel a lump, then he may be impacted. But seeing as he is not on sand, that probably won't be the case. As far as I am aware roaches cannot cause impaction. He doesn't eat mealworms does he?

A black pellet with a white line down one side. The black bit is poop and the white bit is wee. It's normally quite firm - although one of Diego's poops was a bit runny and quite smelly!

miss b, your berdie has only been pooping every 10 days? thats not right, I'd get that looked into. With regular feeding they should poop daily or ever 2-3 at the least

Usually every second day, although at the moment Diego has decided he is brumating - I haven't seen him in days, lol. I was told that pooping once or twice a week was normal for some adult beardies, while others poop daily. He seems happy and healthy in every other way, so I can't say I've really been too concerned by his infrequent bowel movements. Should I be?

I dunno, it's not like a keep a calendar of his bowel movements lol. It's definately not 2-3 times per week, more like 2-3 times per fortnight. Keeping in mind though, that we only got him a month ago so we haven't quite figured out his routine yet. And as I said, he's just decided recently that he's going into brumation - all I can see of him is an inch or two of tail sticking out from under his drift wood
