is a calcium light the same as a uv light the same ?

Is a calcium light the same as a uv light ?

no, calcium is a chemical and uv is a form of light i know you already know but the answer is still no. Uv is needed to synthesize vitamin D which is needed for the calcium to be used by the animal, one without the other is useless

i googled calcium light and it says its just white light, so ill say no. but im not sure, ive never heard of calcium light before...

EDIT: or what hornet said, whichever's good

lol i totally missed the "light" after calcium. No such thing as calcium light.

i only started givin my drgon calcium like 2 days ago (he is 16 months old) and he is completely fine.. but the answer is no..

lol i did the same mistake as hornet..

soz i thought you meant the calcium poweder? but i got no clue bout the calci light soz..

Grr, little brother got into my account again.

The turtles have a calcium powder in the water, as well as a UV light above the tank. Now, if he'd bothered to ask me I could have told him as much...

14 year old boy logic huh?
