Is it too soon?

Hi all,

Ive had my Blue Tongue Skink since last November, so he's still a bub really.. but a big one at that. He's in great condition, recently went through a shed and has a good tank, UV light etc etc.. But recently he hasnt been eating much.

Typically I'll give him a bit of endive or bok choy, with a few peas, a tiny bit of banana every odd day, and protein in the form of a live snail or a few mealies or a piece of beef heart. He gets Vitamin powder every wednesday, and calcium powder every other day

He use to eat everything in his bowl, Ive only increased the portions by a 1/4 as he's grown, but now he'll hardly touch his food.

So my question is, is it too soon to be feeding him every second day?

Does he just need some more variety? Ive tried other fruits and veg, he wont eat them.

Also, Im a bit concerned that my dog might be harassing him during the day. Im going to get a barrier or something to go around the front of the tank, hopefully that will fix that.

Dont worrie about him going off his feed as quite a lot of reps are slowing
thier feeding at the moment.
We keep shingle backs and blue tounges in outdoor enclosures and they
normally get feed every day but have been cut back to every 3rd day now
as they are slowing with the change of season
