Is there a difference between the Liasis and the Antaresia python groups? In particular the Childreni python family? I am puzzled? Please assist. thanks |

G'day dragoncrab,
The four pygmy pythons (maculosus, childreni, stimsoni and perthensis) have been placed into a few different genera. These include Liasis, Bothrochilus and the current accepted genus of Antaresia.
