The snake is still alert, wants to eat and went to the toilet yesterday without any worries. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks everyone for your support

yeah lancing a small abscess wouldn't be a huge procedure, but that is definitely the next step if the antibiotics alone do not resolve it, and thats just due to the fact that the body has cut off the bacteria by surrounding it with layers upon layers of inflammation tissue hence the lump, and this also means that blood flow to the area is minimal meaning the antibiotic may not be able to penetrate it completely
