Ive just spent my rent on a pair<M/F>of two year old coastal hypos and now im not sure if they were housed together. Would it be a mistake to house them together on the first nite in a 4ft snake enclosure with mod cons like extra hiding spots? |

| | | | that doesnt matter. whether they are aggressive or not.
housing them together will only spell out disaster one day.
keep em seperate. if u dont have enough enclosures u should not have brought 2.. |

Actually the opposite, they are extra careful when curling up together and if they do smell food and see movement, (the other snake moving) they don't strike they investigate, have a smell, recognise each others scent and loose interest in the movement.
Thats just my situation, both are 7 foot plus. I believe smaller/younger snakes are little more nervous and willing to strike so maybe you shouldn't keep them together, at least not on the first night.
