Knob tails

Do knob tails need to have uv lights or can they be normal lights just for warmth?

Thanks.

seeing as knob tails ( nephrurus levis ) are nocturnal, they don't require the UV light as much as a diurnal reptile such as a python or bearded dragon. Personaly i get my vitamins to the lizards with dusting the geckos food with vitamin supliments, repcal etc. As for heating the best method i have used is a heat pad underneath their enclosure obviously using a thermostat to avoid over heating them. have one end dry and warm and the other slightly damp and cool. any other questions please feel free to ask.
