Hi, Stellar hasn't come out for awhile and hadn't shed so I held her for a bit last night and decided I would feed her, which she ate. Anyway while I was holding her I noticed she had a loose scale and I could see where it was coming up. I thought that maybe it was because she was going to shed soon.
So she shed this afternoon and she still has the scale there, and also some extra skin stuck to it now. Also her shed was broken in half where that scale was missing.
Should I just be giving her a bath everyday until it comes off? Is it ok to do that since I just fed her last night? Or would it be better to just take her to the vet? She was fine with me holding her for the photos and there isn't a huge lump in her belly so I guess it is time to up the size of her mice.

Retained shed, you should be able to just peel it off carefully, or with some warm water on a towel rub it a bit, should come off.

just soak her in warm water and get all the skin of. she should be fine

Ok thanks for that I will give her a bath tonight. Last night it looked like a scale was missing as there was a little spot where it should have been. I poked it a little and it was hard so I decided against trying to get it off. If that is the case should I still be trying to make sure that I get it off?
