what do you mean by no paperwork? Do you have a movement advice?
Did he give you his licence # and an export licence #? In NSW I dont think there is any "paperwork" as in QLD. (There isnt on import - havent done an export but I assume its the same deal)

all you need from them is a export permit number and their licence details, you have to do the qld movement advice and send them a copy, it should have been done and sent to the seller so the movement advice was sent with the snake,

Should have been done before the animal was moved. Sounds like the seller might be trying to save himself 20 bucks for the I/O permit. Give him the benefit of the doubt though & keep pestering him. You really need to get this sorted.

OK, this is how it should go for a NSW sale to QLD. Someone correct me if I get it wrong.
1. You clench the deal & exchange details including licence numbers. At this point of time, if he doesn't produce a licence number, cancel the deal!
2. NSW seller submits an application for import/export with both details & parts with a lobster. ($20)
3. It is approved in 5 days or so & he passes the I/O permit number to the QLD buyer who does the permit thing at his end & parts with approx $2.50 (sounds unfair doesn't it).
4. QLD permit number is passed to NSW seller, who then passes it on to NPWS with completed paperwork.
5. Reptile can now be transported with appropriate paperwork accompanying it.
Have fun!!
