my Eastern water dragon dosen't go in his water

i have a baby water dragon and it dosen't seem to want to go in the water. i have the water in a small dish that it could just fit in, is this big enough???

id give it a bit bigger dish my water dragons pool is 1 and half times the length of the dragon cubed

Also put a branch over it, they often like to sit above the water so they can quickly escape into it if they feel the need.

If the water is too cold it won't go in unless it get too hot in your enclosure, I wouldn't be stressed about it.

Try maybe a small rubbermaid container and fill it about 1/2 half up(if you have room). Try the other suggestions as mentioned above, That was just the first thing that came to mind. Hope this helped

mine are always doing that they sit on the perch and if anything disterbes them they just slide of into the pool

like mine that are outside all winter in adelaide and still sleep in their water.... lol

yeh, mine also sleep in the water outside, i think its because it keeps a more stable temperature.
