i am no expert but there was a recent post that mentioned the same as what you are asking.

people have said that their snakes fell at higher heights and one also said that he saw some snakes jump off a tree which was about 3 stories high and slithered away (he didn't know if it was injured by the way).

The fact that it is feeding means that it is a good sign....

I assume that you can't see any marks on the snake which is a good sign.

My thoughts are that it is fine.... What do others think

(I hope this helps you to not worry, as I can imagine how it must feel)

what snakes is it by the way... by your name, I'm guessing a black and gold jungle.... have you got any pictures.

Good luck, Gold&Black! It sounds like she's ok, and I'm sure that if anything shows up you'll be running to a vet.
That's a beautiful jungle you have there - I haven't seen one with so much black before - v. smexy,

Just thought I'd let you know that if my children's gets into a position that he doesn't like or can't get down from he just lets himself fall, then just keeps on going so I think that unless they fall awkwardly they should be fine. I think you would be able to tell pretty quickly if something was wrong....

Thanks a lot for that guyz... has been a few days now and she seems to b doin fine........ Glad to know that this happens to many peoples snakes and they have all turned out to b ok...... The first thing that made me believe she is ok is, she fed in just a lil while....... I would have guessed that she probably wouldn’t have fed if she was injured or something..........

Also thanks moonfox........ Glad u like her......... Can’t wait to see what she turns out to b like when she grows up......... Got my figures crossed........... A vet would b the first place I would go to if just in case I find out she’s not doing to well..........

She'll be fine, snakes fall all the time from tree's branches, etc etc. Unless she fell on something like a rock or visa versa i wouldn't be worried. There a lot hardier than people think.

It'll be fine. Snakes fall all the time. They're tough.
