New Stimson's - Few General Q's

Hi everyone!

I purchased my first python today! A Stimsons!

Very excited but quite nervous also as I don't want to do anything wrong.

I realize I should leave him for a week or two to settle in, I bought him in the click clack so that will help I hope. Do I wait and feed him or will he just refuse food if he's a bit stressed?

On another note, regarding shedding, if my little guy does have problems will it be obvious? Like if his eye caps don't shed or his tail end is left behind will it be fairly easy for me to spot? Should be ok just move his water towards the heat to raise humidity or give a light mist when I see him getting a bit milky?

Cheers

Let him settle in for a week and then offer a meal to him
should be ok from then.
As for any probs with shedding you will spot any old skin left on if it
doesnt shed properly. One way to avoid shedding probs is to wath for it comming up
to a shed and just after the eyes clear up increase the moisture level in the container,
Can be done with a light misting every day untill it sheds
