I am looking at starting to breed some Woodies...
Roughly how many Woodies will I need to start off with? and where do you guys get them in bulk from?
I have a 70 litre tub, I will be cutting out most of the lid and putting aluminium flywire in...I have a bottle of Teflon paint to coat the rim and am currently collecting egg cartons (the most difficult part so far)...
Any other tips or tricks (I have read a few caresheets - but everyone recommends slightly different things)...??

After they have their last moult and become adults its meant to be 5 - 6 weeks before the babies come out.

I use the card board inserts used to separate fruit such as apples. Come in sheets with dipples in them (to hold the fruit and stop it rolling about) usually blue in colour but sometimes grey-have a word with your green grocer. Place them vertically, so the woodie crap falls to the bottom, back to front so the dipples create a space, . Use as many as you can for the tub. In my 120litre tubs that around 22 side by side and then some more cut in half at the end. Now that is a lot of surface area, and I think that this is the many limiting factor. Place one sheet hortizontally on top and place the food here-then you can see when it needs restocking.

Thats not a bad system you have worked out their spongebob. I mean layout wise- very interesting, may have to give it a go.
Tips for egg cartons:
Ask local chip shops, bakery's etc- you'll be well looked after
