Not Feeding. Any suggestions why?

My carpet has not fed in close to a month.
first one it didnt seem interested. but then it shed. so i held it off for a week then refused again and just today struck at it. took it half way down but then spat it back up.
any suggestions why this is the case??

Try getting the temps in the hot end to around 32 in the warm end, aslo try not to handle her until you get her feeding, dont know if this helps

good luck

What are you offering the python - rats or mice

Some like to eat in the evening afterall they are mostly nocturnal

How old is the python it could be breeding age and not thinking about eating

maklouf - as stated already. it 35 degrees under the backing spot.
the python is at least 5. so its definantly breeding age (6-7 foot)
did cool it down this year.
ive just changed the heat source for heat mat to bulbs. could that be a problem?
snake doesnt seem to mind it though. basks regularly.
just want to get some weight on her. not looking to crash hot ATM

This worked for a fussy eater of mine . Warm up the rat - mouse , give it a shake so they see it and drop it in front of them . After 10 - 15 min if still there take it away for 5 - 10 min , warm it up again and repeat . Sometimes takes a while , good luck .

males may get randy at this time of year and may go off their food, they may also show extra activaty looking for a way out to seek out a girl. If it's an adult in good health, it can go months without a feed, I wouldn't be too stressed if so,
