Not Herp soz... YABBIES.....

I got up bright and early to go drag some local dams for yabbies na d had a bit of a dig for some worms, (The ones i found were huge).
Anyway, the days fishing was less than fruitful, the worms went into the garden.
BUT my Nephew wants to keeps the yabbies (bout 15-20 sub adult).
So any advice or experances on keeping the little buggers would be greatly apreciated.

Give 'em an escape proof tank as they are great escape artists. A pH of around neutral should be OK for them and feed em on algae discs and the occasional goldfish or two of a suitable size Keep ya fingers outa the way when they grow

i would suggest not keeping them all unless you have an extremely large tank as my yabbie is getting a bit large for his tank
