Oh No!!!

I jst got home from work to look in my snakes enclosure and one of my snakes has gotten out of its click clack and has gone in between where i have taped my heat mat and the click clack... I have turned the mat off, but im concerned for him i only fed him yesturday and He could get stuck on sticky tape... he cant escape because the click clacks are in a real snake enclosure (too big for the snake) what should i do?? can i peel the heat mat off and gently move him back in or should i just let him come out??

When I was a kid, I used to have a "sticky hand" that came with a show bag. Instructions said that it can be cleaned with mild soapy water.

You might be able to do the same with the heat mat and the snake. I suggest that you use a pure soap e.g. sunlight or something thats not too harsh for the snake

Lucky!
Get a hook (coathanger if necessary) and pick him straight up so he can't get stuck on the tape, then put him straight back in the container with a minimum of handling, I'm sure he'll be right.

if he is stuck to the tape, dilute 1 part eucalyptus oil to 3 parts water and dab it on the tape where he is stuck to it, it will dissolve the glue

I'm sure he'll be fine, if he doesn't bring his meal up tonight, I think he'll be fine.

yeah im sure he will be right... but generally how much annoyance can they tollerate before regurgitating?? do they have to be held, touched or handled in anyway or is it as easy as the wrong noise or movement???

I would've wiped some talcum powder on the exposed tape to render it non-sticky.
Anything wrong with doing that?

Do you really need to tape a heat mat anyway?
Unless you have a hovering click clack i think it might be fine with a little thing called "Gravity"
