When did this behaviour start? If it's only recent, I'd keep an eye on them for a few more days to see how they go, though if it starts to turn ugly I'd separate immediately.
Any other recent changes/adaptations to their environment/feeding??

|  | Regular Member | Join Date: Dec-04 Location: Melbs Age/Gender: 22  | | | | hmmm well I'm thinking unless the fighting is serious in which one or the other is getting hurt badly, and both rats are still eating normally, I wouldn't worry too much about it as rats tend to be quite territorial and often scrap with one another, so it's actually quite normal. They should settle down after a a week or so though, just give it some time.
