Please help.....My diamond is sick

My diamond did his normal poo a few days after eating....but then he had something like diareoah...he did a few small runny poo things. Then the worrying thing, it looked like he was straining to force something big out...and i could see a physical bulge and his bum was kinda opened up, but nothing came out. Does anyone know whats going on...will he be ok? He is also about 1 year old...only a small guy and not sure of the sex yet either.
Please help as i am very worried.
Thanks

I think that you could feed him with bad rat. If that is the case, he should recover since he pased the food. Watch the snakes behivour and post here. What is temperature in cage now?

Anybody else have Idea?

It might be constipated, give it some laxatives or prunes (just kidding)

Seriously though, some people on here have said that if they have trouble pooing a warm bath can help. I hope he's alright.

diarrhoea is quite often a sign of worms, which can easily be fixed with wormout gel.

thanks

I havn't changed his diet at all.....i wouldn't be so worried if it was just the diorreah. But the bulge thing really worries me.....the temperature is pretty much the room temperature at this time of year but with a heat mat that reaches 30 degrees and radiates heat around that end of the enclosure, this all happened yesterday and since then he has just been hiding away like normal. Thanks for all the help guys....I just hope he's ok. I dont think he's constipated as he has poo'd and also done those diorreah things. But maybe. I'm a bit nervous to pick him up aswell.

Handling your snake reguarly is the best way to keep an eye on it's general health.
Some snakes partially prolapse when they go to the toilet, maybe thats what you were looking at? I've seen snakes strain and contract their muscles around their vent while going to the toilet. I'd have a feel around it's vent and see if there is anything hard that may be constipating the snake. If you you can gently try and manipulate it out or soak it in a tub of warm water for a few hours and see if the snake passes it.
