Position

Not sure if this is in the right spot but here it is. I have two 6 month old f/male bredlis. They are complete pigs when it comes to food. I feed the every 4 to 5 days on 1 or 2 hoppers depending on size. Over the past 3 to 4 weeks I have watched them quite a bit after a feed and when they have finished they seen to sit either on the groung or drapped over a dowl rod across a rock what appears to be in the strike possy. Now to to the point does this mean they are still hungry or what. I dont want to over feed them nor starve them. As I have a Maccie that eates when the planets and starts are aligned (meaning when ever she decides. She is also female so there is no chance of over feeding her).

Just not quite sure going from 1 that hardley eats to the others that all they seem to do is eat.

Cheers

RE: Position

All my snake will site in a strike pose after eating. They will eat as much as you put in front of them.
Start feeding them every 10 - 14 days on fuzzy rats. It would hurt them to go without food for a month sometimes.
Can you post some pics of the snakes?

RE: Position

Some snakes will eat as much as you will give them which isnt healthy for the snake if you oblige. While others like your childrens can be a pain in the backside. I'm not sure of the size of your bredlis but maybe increase the size of there meal and feed them say every 7 days, but what you are doing seems fine.
Just don't feed them anymore regularly then that.

RE: Position

Frank, you can over feed a female just as easy as a male.
IMO you should feed them every 10-14 days at the very most, even young snakes need metibolic rest.
