Pregnant Carpet Python

I posted a thread about a month ago, our female costal has gone off her food,still vey active has shead etc Someone sugested she may be pregnant,She still hasnt eaten.How do we know if she is pregnant and how do we prepare for this????

If she is, get a container of 50/50 (by weight) vermiculite and water in there for her to the eggs lay in and get an incubator ready.

i also have a darwin and am looking to start breeding from her as this is my first time all info is great so what i have learned here is great

When did she last shed? Does she seem very, very fat or just normal? To be honest i doubt very much she would be gravid, a pic would be good.

Thanks guys great advice She feels and looks a bit fatter She hasnt eaten for over 2 mths. She shed just b4 that at the mo very active wanting out of her enclosure every evening usually when they shed they are not at all active.
We are kinda hoping she is pregnant now that we over the initial shock!!!!

If she were gravid she would have laid 3-4 weeks after shedding. Sorry to say but there is practically no chance she is gravid. Are you still offering her food, as i would be a touch worried at the fact she has refused food for 2 months straight.

If it is not gravid.....they should be looking for plenty of food right now.....as they know that they need to bulk up for winter!!
I know at the moment ours all have voracious appetites!
